  • Accountabilities Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality software solutions for diagnostic instrument systems and supporting applications. Create software architecture, technical designs, code modules, and unit tests while ensuring strong quality standards throughout the development lifecycle. Develop and enhance user-facing data presentation layers capable of handling complex datasets and demanding healthcare workflows. Participate in software design, code, and testing reviews to ensure compliance with engineering best practices, functional requirements, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with verification and validation teams, engineering managers, and cross-functional global teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance products. Investigate and resolve software, hardware, and system-level issues using structured troubleshooting techniques and innovative problem-solving approaches. Prepare technical documentation required for internal development processes and regulatory compliance activities, including quality system requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance software development processes and product performance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. 8–12 years of professional software development experience, ideally working on commercial products or complex technical systems. Strong experience designing and developing C#/.NET applications with a solid foundation in WPF. Experience building data presentation solutions for large and complex datasets. Knowledge of real-time transaction processing, SQL databases, data persistence, and Windows-based application development. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, architecture design, testing methodologies, and development best practices. Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed, multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly. Experience working in regulated environments or familiarity with quality standards such as FDA Quality Systems Regulation is preferred. Additional experience with Microsoft Team Foundation, Windows 32 development, embedded software, or electromechanical systems is considered an advantage.
