Responsibilities
- Design and implement a reference proof-of-concept pipeline using HR data as the initial domain
- Perform data profiling and quality assessments to identify gaps, anomalies, and remediation requirements
- Define reusable architectural patterns, templates, and best practices to support future domain onboarding
- Develop a standardized onboarding playbook for migrating legacy data systems to Databricks
- Produce architecture blueprints and technical documentation
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions with technical and business stakeholders
- Present executive-level readouts, including roadmap recommendations and next-phase guidance
- Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) data layer strategy
- Security, governance, and access control frameworks
- Data inventory and lineage
- Data quality, dependencies, and integration points
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and implementing Databricks Lakehouse architectures
- Hands-on expertise with medallion data modeling (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- Experience with data governance, security, and access controls in cloud data platforms
- Proven ability to conduct data discovery, profiling, and quality assessments
- Experience building proof-of-concept data pipelines and reference architectures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and executive audiences
