- Accountabilities The Intake & Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing client consultations, converting qualified leads into retained matters, and optimizing the client intake experience to support firm growth. Key responsibilities include: Leading high-value consultations with pre-qualified personal injury prospects following initial intake screening Converting consultations into signed retainer agreements through clear, confident, and persuasive legal communication Assessing liability, damages, insurance coverage, and overall case viability at a senior legal level Explaining contingency fee structures, legal strategies, and case expectations in a clear and client-friendly manner Responding promptly to high-intent leads and maintaining disciplined follow-up processes to maximize conversion rates Collaborating with intake and marketing teams to improve lead quality, messaging, and overall client experience Providing feedback on intake scripts, workflows, and conversion strategies to continuously improve performance outcomes Ensuring smooth and accurate handoff of signed cases to litigation teams for ongoing file management Requirements This role requires an experienced personal injury lawyer with strong client-facing skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to convert legal consultations into retained clients. 5+ years of experience in Personal Injury law practice in Ontario Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario Strong understanding of liability, damages, insurance claims, and contingency fee arrangements Proven ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly, confidently, and persuasively High emotional intelligence with experience supporting clients in sensitive or high-stress situations Strong consultative selling, objection handling, and decision-guiding abilities Results-driven mindset with accountability for conversion performance and client acquisition metrics Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume intake environment Strong collaboration skills with intake, marketing, and litigation teams Benefits Competitive base salary between $100,000 – $130,000 Total compensation potential of $120,000 – $170,000+ including performance incentives Full health, dental, and vision insurance coverage Pension matching program Unlimited vacation policy Flexible remote or hybrid work structure within Ontario Opportunity to step away from traditional litigation and focus on client acquisition and firm growth High-impact, leadership-visible role within a modern and fast-growing legal environment
