What Is Inside Sales At Tekmetric

We’ve built a team of passionate sales people that service inbound demand, qualify, work, demo, follow up with, and close net new business. This team has been the backbone in driving the growth of our customer base and revenue by helping shop owners who are looking to transform their businesses. 

Our inside sales team is responsible for:

  • Signing up new customers to the Tekmetric platform and its addon products and services.
  • Servicing inbound demand from the time it enters the funnel all the way to close with a high level of activity (phone calls, emails, meetings, etc).
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for potential customers as they interact with Tekmetric on their buying journey (i.e. introduction to our platform,  booking demos, follow-ups after demo, etc…).
  • Learning and transferring expert-level product knowledge on Tekmetric’s suite of products and service offerings.
  • Maintaining and refining information about prospects, shop locations, and deals/opportunities in our CRM.
  • Providing useful details to other members of the sales and support teams so they can deliver a tailored customer experience.
  • Collaborating and keeping active lines of communication with other company-wide roles that play a part in the customer journey.
  • Ensuring all potential customers receive exceptional service from start to finish.

 What You’ll Do

  • Continuously build, train, and mentor a team of sales people to meet and exceed 100% of quota. 
  • Work with sales leadership to define, track, and report on key performance indicators for your team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to build, update, and maintain workflows that enable your team to effectively grow our sales pipeline, engage with prospects, and ultimately help our team close more deals. 
  • Interview, hire, and train new members of your team. 
  • Meet regularly with your team to share feedback, provide coaching, and work with our operations team to consistently improve business processes that increase team performance. 
  • Manage team-level activities in our CRM.
  • Share insights with other sales leadership counterparts to continue to optimize our team and scale our operations.

WhatYou’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience with a total of 6  years or more of progressive sales experience. (B2B SaaS experience preferred) 
  • Experience and expertise using and building workflows in a CRM system (Salesforce preferred) 
  • Strong and clear communicator - especially around planning, tactics  and execution. 
  • Proven track record of hiring and ramping your salespeople to quota
  • Proven and demonstrated experience successfully coaching sales people
  • Exceptional listening skills and empathy
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to manage your team remotely. Depending where you’re located, you may be managing folks in person as well as remotely. Comfort to do both is preferred.
