This role focuses on designing and structuring enterprise information frameworks that enable consistent, scalable, and well-governed data usage across business systems. You will be responsible for defining conceptual and logical data models that align business processes with data structures, ensuring clarity, consistency, and usability of enterprise information assets. The position plays a key role in improving data governance, taxonomy, and metadata management practices across the organization. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, data governance teams, and technical stakeholders to translate business workflows into structured data architectures. The environment is highly analytical and collaborative, centered on building strong information foundations for enterprise decision-making. This is a contract opportunity ideal for professionals experienced in data modeling and enterprise information architecture.
  • Accountabilities: Design and develop conceptual and logical data models aligned with business processes and enterprise architecture standards. Analyze business workflows and translate them into structured data representations and information models. Define, document, and maintain taxonomy structures, including business terminology, vocabularies, and glossaries. Support metadata management initiatives, ensuring consistency and governance of enterprise data assets. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with data architecture solutions. Contribute to the design and improvement of data governance frameworks and standards. Support integration considerations for APIs, services, and event-driven architectures where applicable. Requirements: Strong understanding of conceptual and logical data modeling principles and methodologies. Experience translating business processes and workflows into structured data models. Prior experience in taxonomy development, including organizing business terms, vocabularies, and glossaries. Hands-on experience in metadata management, with Collibra experience highly desirable. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and enterprise information architecture practices. Understanding of API-based, service-oriented, or event-driven architectures is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders. Ability to work independently in a remote contract environment. Must be a US citizen, Green Card holder, or H4-EAD eligible (no third-party arrangements).
