This role sits at the intersection of energy systems engineering, commercial strategy, and large-scale infrastructure transformation. You will focus on identifying and shaping energy resilience opportunities across enterprise, campus, government, and infrastructure environments. Acting as a key connector between customers and technical teams, you will translate complex energy challenges into structured, executable project opportunities. The position requires strong domain expertise in integrated energy systems such as microgrids, DERs, CHP, and renewable-plus-storage solutions. You will influence cross-functional stakeholders across sales, engineering, and operations to develop scalable, high-impact energy programs. Operating in a remote-first but travel-enabled environment, you will play a pivotal role in advancing national energy optimization and resilience strategies.
- Accountabilities: Develop and lead the growth of the integrated energy and energy resilience domain across U.S. markets, identifying high-value opportunities across enterprise, campus, government, and infrastructure sectors. Analyze complex and fragmented energy systems to uncover opportunities for optimization, modernization, and resilience improvements. Build and manage a national pipeline of technically viable energy projects in collaboration with sales and engineering teams. Translate customer challenges into structured, executable energy solutions, ensuring alignment with technical feasibility and commercial viability. Partner with application engineering teams to define scope, feasibility, and design of integrated energy systems, including microgrids, CHP, DERs, and storage solutions. Engage senior stakeholders to understand operational constraints and guide them toward high-impact energy strategies. Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and support the transition of qualified opportunities into execution-ready projects. Provide market insights and contribute to strategic development of energy resilience offerings and go-to-market initiatives. Requirements: 7–10+ years of experience in energy systems, engineering, technical business development, or energy resilience-focused roles. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy systems, HVAC/MEP, or a related technical field. Strong understanding of integrated energy systems, distributed energy resources, and resilience-focused infrastructure solutions. Proven ability to translate technical energy challenges into structured, commercially viable project opportunities. Experience working with enterprise, campus-scale, institutional, or government energy environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment across technical and commercial teams. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving, planning, and value-driven decision-making capabilities.
