Job Description
Job Title: HR Specialist
Location: Remote (US Hours - 9am to 5pm EST)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Paid in South African Rands (ZAR)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support across the organisation
- Assist with payroll-related queries, including investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
- Conduct background checks and ensure compliance with hiring requirements
- Manage cancellations, schedule changes, and employee updates accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation
- Support HR-related projects and process improvements
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries, providing clear and timely communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth HR operations
- Proven experience in HR administration or a similar HR support role
- Strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Confident handling day-to-day HR issues independently
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and efficient
- Professional, reliable, and strong work ethic
