  • This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HPE Networking Inside Territory Manager based in the United States. This is a remote sales role focused on growing networking revenue across an assigned territory and customer base. You’ll manage opportunities from initial prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close, with a strong focus on new business and account expansion. The role combines transactional and solution-oriented selling across complex networking products and services. You’ll build trusted relationships with IT leaders, procurement stakeholders, business managers, and other customer decision-makers. Success will depend on proactive pipeline generation, consultative selling, accurate forecasting, and consistent achievement of sales targets. You’ll collaborate closely with outside sales representatives, partners, and internal specialists to deliver the right solutions for customers.   • Accountabilities: Independently manage leads and opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close. Drive sales of networking products, services, solutions, and related offerings across an assigned territory, account base, or product portfolio. Proactively prospect within existing and prospective accounts to uncover new business, cross-selling, upselling, and upgrade opportunities. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and take responsibility for forecasting, reporting, and pipeline accuracy in accordance with established sales processes. Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas, revenue objectives, activity metrics, and other performance targets. Use consultative-selling techniques to understand customer requirements and position solutions that address business and technology needs. Develop strong relationships with customer stakeholders, including IT executives, business managers, procurement teams, and specialty buyers. Manage complex, multi-product and multi-service opportunities, coordinating the appropriate internal and external resources to support successful sales. Engage outside sales representatives and specialist teams when opportunities require additional technical expertise, face-to-face engagement, or higher levels of complexity. Partner effectively with channel and external partners on selected opportunities to improve solution quality and win rates. Protect and expand existing business by proactively reviewing account activity, identifying growth opportunities, and coordinating account plans. Contribute to territory and district sales strategy, quota planning, and the development of an individual sales plan. Address complex customer requests by leveraging broad knowledge of networking products, services, and solutions. Orchestrate internal resources, sponsorship, and cross-functional collaboration to execute business opportunities effectively. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; a four-year university degree is preferred. Typically 4–6 years of sales or account management experience, preferably within the IT or technology industry. Proven track record of achieving sales results and independently progressing opportunities through the entire sales cycle. Strong understanding of consultative selling, account development, prospecting, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting. Demonstrated ability to uncover new opportunities within existing accounts and develop new business. Strong knowledge of technology products and solutions, ideally including networking-related offerings. Ability to understand customer needs and tailor sales messaging to business objectives, procurement requirements, and technical considerations. Strong understanding of customer procurement processes and the decision criteria involved in winning and retaining business. Ability to develop trusted relationships with business managers, IT executives, procurement stakeholders, and other decision-makers. Strong knowledge of sales tools, methodologies, processes, and performance metrics. Demonstrated ability to coordinate internal teams, technical specialists, external partners, and other resources to deliver effective solutions. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to work independently and manage multiple opportunities. Strong problem-solving and judgment skills, particularly when handling complex customer requirements. Project management skills are desirable. Previous experience acting as a team lead or coordinating cross-functional initiatives is a plus.
