- Amazon MGM Studios is seeking an experienced Senior Creative Executive to join our Italian team, reporting directly to the Head of Southern Europe. This role will be primarily focused on supporting series/movies development, while also supporting select film projects. About the Role: Based in Italy, you will be part of the team supporting the creative development of original Italian-language content for Amazon MGM Studios. You will be instrumental by helping identify, develop, and shepherd high-quality series from concept through production. Ideal Candidate Profile: Extensive experience in script development, with deep understanding of story structure, character development, and serialized storytelling. Background from a major broadcaster (television network), studio, or production company in Italy or internationally. Proven track record supporting multiple development projects simultaneously. Strong relationships within the Italian entertainment industry Excellent creative instincts with ability to help identify commercially viable content that resonates globally Fluency in Italian and English required This is an exceptional opportunity to help shape the future of Italian original content for a global audience at one of the industry's most dynamic studios. Key job responsibilities Support the development of multiple movies and series projects simultaneously, with primary focus on Italian-language originals. Collaborate closely with writers, show-runners, and production partners throughout the development process. Identify and cultivate relationships with top Italian publishers, creative talent, production companies, and literary sources. Provide creative notes and script development expertise across all stages of production. Search for IPs, trend and relevant stories for Italian customers. Solve complex problems in a fast pace environment. Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Legal, Business Affairs, and PR/Social/Marketing teams. Lead, mentor, and support a team of development professionals, fostering collaboration, creative excellence, and effective project execution across multiple movies and series projects. About the team The applicable collective agreement for this role is Executives of the Industrial Sector. The position is classified at level Dirigenti or above, depending on the candidate’s skills, competences and experience. The minimum gross annual base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated. Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include further pay components where applicable. Your recruiting team will share final salary, depending on skills and requirements. In addition to statutory benefits, and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms. Italy - EUR 103,700 gross annually.
Basic Qualifications
- - Experience in select and review scripts, giving notes and adapting to editorial strategy for movie and series. - Strong and extensive experience in developing scripted series and movies. - Search for relevant stories, IPs, trends and books in the Italian Market and abroad. - Understand, lead and execute editorial strategy and drive the vision of senior leadership - Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior leadership
