Job Description
Why This Role Matters
As Head of Architecture, you'll be at the epicentre of Vonage's transformation—defining the technical foundation that enables the company to compete at the frontier of communications and AI. You'll have the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of Vonage's agility and Ericsson's global scale, turning breakthrough technology into tangible business impact.
This is not a traditional enterprise architecture role. You'll be shaping the future of how enterprises communicate, collaborate, and leverage AI-powered insights, working on problems that affect millions of users globally and defining architectures that will scale to hyperscale dimensions.
Position Overview
You'll join our Chief Innovation Office (CINO) as a key member of the leadership team driving the next frontier of innovation and growth. This strategic role will define and execute the end-to-end technology strategy and common reference architecture that enables Vonage to transform disruptive technology into scalable business value.
Reporting directly to the Chief Innovation Officer, you will lead a multidisciplinary architecture team spanning AI, Enterprise/Data, IT, Developer Experience, and Telecom domains. You will inherit a team of 6 Architects distributed across the UK and Spain. You'll serve as a critical bridge between Vonage's agile innovation engine and Ericsson's massive global scale, ensuring every technology investment strengthens our competitive position and advances our strategic impact.

- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and start-up agility while maintaining enterprise discipline
- Attract and develop elite architecture talent that can operate at the intersection of technology innovation and business value
