Job Description

We are looking for a Middle Game Designer who lives and breathes mobile gaming. You won’t just be "making games"; you’ll be crafting experiences. You will bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution, ensuring our projects are balanced, engaging, and optimized for success in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept Development: Conceptualize and flesh out game ideas based on specific themes or market trends.

  • Documentation: Create, maintain, and evolve the Game Design Document (GDD) to serve as the "source of truth" for the team.

  • Systems & Mechanics: Design core gameplay loops, meta-gameplay systems, and mechanics that keep players coming back.

  • Economy & Balance: Master the math. You’ll be responsible for balancing gameplay difficulty and fine-tuning the in-game economy.

  • Technical Specs: Translate your vision into actionable technical specifications for our programmers and artists.

  • Full Lifecycle Support: Oversee the development process from initial prototype through to post-launch analysis, using data to iterate and improve.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 1.5+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in a Game Designer role specifically within the Mobile Games sector.

  • Deep Gaming Intuition: You have a high "gaming IQ." You stay on top of trends, play everything, and understand why certain mechanics work while others fail.

  • Rapid Iteration: The ability to ideate quickly and pivot creative concepts under tight deadlines without breaking a sweat.

  • Exceptional Multitasking: You’re comfortable juggling multiple tasks and keeping the "big picture" in mind while focusing on the details.

  • Communication: Strong ability to explain complex systems to both technical and non-technical team members.

Why Join Us?

At Medier, you’ll work in an environment where data meets wild creativity. We value fast movers, analytical thinkers, and anyone who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo to deliver better results.
