This role focuses on designing and building high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android within a hybrid AI-assisted development environment. You will contribute to the full mobile development lifecycle, from UI implementation to backend integration and performance optimization. The work spans a variety of app types, including utilities, productivity tools, fitness, content, and lightweight consumer applications. You will collaborate with AI-driven agents that support repetitive tasks while you provide engineering expertise, platform-specific judgment, and quality assurance. The role requires ensuring that applications are stable, performant, and aligned with native platform standards. • Accountabilities: In this role, you will be responsible for building and improving mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring high performance, usability, and adherence to platform standards. Develop mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, Swift (iOS), or Kotlin (Android) Build responsive UIs aligned with iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design principles Integrate native device features such as camera, push notifications, geolocation, biometrics, and storage Connect mobile apps to backend APIs and manage offline functionality, caching, and synchronization Implement monetization features such as in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads when required Evaluate and refactor AI-generated code to ensure performance, correctness, and maintainability Debug platform-specific issues and optimize applications for stability and battery efficiency Prepare and manage builds for App Store and Google Play deployment Collaborate on improving mobile architecture and user experience across projects Requirements: This position requires strong hands-on experience in mobile development and the ability to independently deliver production-ready applications for iOS and Android. Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile application development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform) Strong experience with React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI, or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns, navigation, and state management Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data flows Familiarity with local storage, caching, and offline-first mobile design Experience using native device APIs (notifications, camera, location, biometrics, etc.) Knowledge of mobile build processes, signing, and app store deployment Experience with performance optimization and ensuring app stability Strong attention to detail and commitment to polished user experiences Ability to work independently and ship complete mobile features Portfolio of published mobile apps (App Store / Google Play links preferred) Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2 or above) Nice to have: Experience with in-app purchases, subscriptions, or mobile ads Familiarity with Firebase, Supabase, or similar backend services Experience refining AI-generated or automated code outputs Exposure to scaling mobile apps in production environments Benefits: Fully remote freelance work with flexible schedule (approx. 10–20 hours/week during active phases) Competitive compensation up to $35/hour equivalent depending on experience and contribution level Opportunity to work in a hybrid AI + human mobile development environment Hands-on experience building real-world mobile applications across multiple categories Exposure to modern mobile architectures and AI-assisted engineering workflows Performance-based bonuses for high-quality and consistent delivery Independent work model with ownership over implementation and delivery Global, remote collaboration environment
