Overview of the role
Our client is looking for a Founding Marketing hire who thrives in early-stage environments and wants real ownership of execution and outcomes. This is not a “Head of Marketing” role. You’ll be doing the work - writing, posting, testing, measuring, and iterating - with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn, social distribution, and SEO. You’ll work remotely and autonomously, directly with the two founders, and be accountable for driving pipeline, conversions, and early MRR.
What You’ll Do
Growth, Social & Distribution
- Own day-to-day growth execution focused on pipeline and revenue.
- Lead LinkedIn and social growth, including:
- Creating and publishing short-form content for company and founder accounts.
- Amplifying founder voices and thought leadership.
- Testing narratives, hooks, formats, and positioning.
- Driving consistent engagement and audience growth.
SEO & Discoverability
- Own SEO strategy and execution.
- Improve organic discoverability across key hiring-related searches.
- GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) experience is a strong plus.
Conversion & Optimization
- Activate and improve existing marketing assets (website, messaging, content, tooling).
- Optimize conversion across:
- Website → demo.
- Demo → close.
- Improve pipeline quality and demo scheduling.
- Run fast growth experiments and double down on what works.
Collaboration & Execution
- Partner closely with founders on ICP definition, positioning, and GTM execution.
- Bring proactive ideas for messaging, campaigns, blogs, and content.
- Manage documentation and assets in Google Drive.
- Coordinate closely with the two founder-partners focused on sales.
- 3-10 years in growth, demand, or hands-on marketing roles.
- Have worked in early-stage startups or launched new products.
- Strong at LinkedIn and social content, ideally managing company and founder accounts.
- Strong writer who thinks commercially and moves fast.
- Comfortable working remotely and autonomously.
- Prefer ownership and outcomes over titles and process.
- Accountable to revenue, not vanity metrics.
- Proactive, organized, and hungry to build.
- B2B SaaS or HRTech experience is a plus, not a requirement.
- Experience building a personal audience is a nice-to-have.
