📍 Cape Town | 🕒 Full-time

We’re hiring a Founding Account Executive to join The Sales People team. You will build pipeline and close new business from day one, while laying the foundations of our sales function. This is not a first sales job. You must already have hands-on experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting, and be comfortable owning deals end to end. As you perform, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape our sales processes, tooling, and eventually support and mentor new hires.

As our first sales hire, you will take weight off the founding team and play a key role in shaping our sales engine. Over the first year, this role will evolve significantly. You will:

  • Generate new business opportunities. Own outbound prospecting, build a pipeline from scratch, and take prospects from unaware to interested.

  • Progress into closing deals. Manage negotiations and deal execution as you gain experience.

  • Shape and lead a sales function. Eventually mentor new hires and help define our sales processes and culture.

  • Work closely with founders. Gain exposure to strategy, GTM planning, and scaling high-performance sales teams.

  • Drive impact from day one. Your results will directly influence the growth of our company and clients.

This is more than a sales role. It is a launchpad to develop ownership, leadership, and a career in high-growth sales.
