Responsibilities
- Conduct rigging operations in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
- Plan and execute lifts by analyzing load requirements and physical constraints.
- Collaborate with crew members and other personnel to ensure effective communication during operations.
- Implement safety measures to mitigate risks during rigging and lifting activities.
- Assist in the preparation and setup of projects, including rigging layouts and load calculations.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior riggers and new personnel on best practices and safety protocols.
- Proven experience as a rigger in the oil and energy sector or a related industry.
- Rigging Intermediate or above on High Risk Work Licence.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Physical fitness and the capability to work in challenging environmental conditions.
- Flexibility to work on various schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and outages.
