Responsibilities
- Lead and support Epic OpTime implementation, optimization, and workflow design
- Collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
- Build and refine workflows for pre-admission testing, pre-op, intra-op, and PACU
- Support surgical supply management, barcode scanning, and charging workflows
- Work with device integration teams and assist with third-party system connections
- Participate in testing, validation, deployment planning, and go-live activities
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to process improvements
- Assist with documentation, project planning, training, and system support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or clinical degree preferred
- Current Epic OpTime certification required, Anesthesia or related certifications a plus
- 5+ years of experience with full Epic implementation cycles in large healthcare systems
- Experience with device integration, perfusion implementation, and supply chain workflows
- Strong understanding of surgical workflows and perioperative operations
- Familiarity with third-party surgical systems (e.g., TrackCore, ProVation)
- Ability to work primarily remote with limited on-site requirements
- Knowledge of MTP workflows and barcode scanning preferred
- Clinical background or prior healthcare experience desirable
