Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Epic OpTime implementation, optimization, and workflow design
  • Collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
  • Build and refine workflows for pre-admission testing, pre-op, intra-op, and PACU
  • Support surgical supply management, barcode scanning, and charging workflows
  • Work with device integration teams and assist with third-party system connections
  • Participate in testing, validation, deployment planning, and go-live activities
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to process improvements
  • Assist with documentation, project planning, training, and system support
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or clinical degree preferred
  • Current Epic OpTime certification required, Anesthesia or related certifications a plus
  • 5+ years of experience with full Epic implementation cycles in large healthcare systems
  • Experience with device integration, perfusion implementation, and supply chain workflows
  • Strong understanding of surgical workflows and perioperative operations
  • Familiarity with third-party surgical systems (e.g., TrackCore, ProVation)
  • Ability to work primarily remote with limited on-site requirements
  • Knowledge of MTP workflows and barcode scanning preferred
  • Clinical background or prior healthcare experience desirable
