Responsibilities
- Lead Epic OpTime Anesthesia implementation and enhancement activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate clinical and workflow requirements
- Support workflow design across pre-admission testing, pre-op, intra-op, PACU, and anesthesia documentation
- Configure surgical supply workflows, including barcode scanning and charging
- Partner on device integration, perfusion workflows, and third-party system connectivity
- Participate in testing, validation, deployment planning, and end-user support
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to cross-team process improvements
- Assist with project planning, documentation, training, and change management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced clinical degree preferred
- Current Epic OpTime and/or Anesthesia certification required
- 2-5 years of experience with Epic EMR or other clinical systems
- 5+ years of full Epic implementation lifecycle experience in large healthcare systems
- Experience with device integration, supply management, and MTP workflows preferred
- Strong understanding of surgical and anesthesia workflows
- Familiarity with third-party perioperative systems (e.g., TrackCore, Provation)
- Ability to work primarily remote with limited on-site needs
- Clinical background or OR/anesthesia experience a plus
