Responsibilities
  • Lead Epic OpTime Anesthesia implementation and enhancement activities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate clinical and workflow requirements
  • Support workflow design across pre-admission testing, pre-op, intra-op, PACU, and anesthesia documentation
  • Configure surgical supply workflows, including barcode scanning and charging
  • Partner on device integration, perfusion workflows, and third-party system connectivity
  • Participate in testing, validation, deployment planning, and end-user support
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to cross-team process improvements
  • Assist with project planning, documentation, training, and change management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced clinical degree preferred
  • Current Epic OpTime and/or Anesthesia certification required
  • 2-5 years of experience with Epic EMR or other clinical systems
  • 5+ years of full Epic implementation lifecycle experience in large healthcare systems
  • Experience with device integration, supply management, and MTP workflows preferred
  • Strong understanding of surgical and anesthesia workflows
  • Familiarity with third-party perioperative systems (e.g., TrackCore, Provation)
  • Ability to work primarily remote with limited on-site needs
  • Clinical background or OR/anesthesia experience a plus
