Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Epic Orders analysts throughout implementation and optimization efforts
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Orders and Bugsy workflows, functionality, and system configuration
- Provide technical and strategic guidance to ensure high-quality build and integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure seamless system interactions
- Develop best practices and standardized processes for Orders/Bugsy across the organization
- Support requirements gathering, testing, change management, and go-live readiness
- Participate in documentation, end-user support, and ongoing workflow improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced clinical degree preferred
- Current Epic certifications in Orders and Bugsy required
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle Epic implementations within large healthcare systems
- 2-5 years of experience with Epic EMR or related clinical systems
- Deep understanding of inpatient ordering workflows and infection control workflows
- Experience leading teams or guiding junior analysts
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work primarily remote with limited on-site requirements
- Clinical experience or exposure to inpatient operations preferred
