  • This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Governance Business Development Executive based in United States. This role is focused on driving new business and account expansion across enterprise governance and vendor management services. You will help organizations improve supplier performance, reduce risk, strengthen compliance, and optimize governance operations. The position combines complex consultative selling with deep expertise across procurement, vendor management, risk, compliance, legal, finance, IT, and business operations. You will work with senior executives and cross-functional experts to shape high-value solutions and outcome-based engagements. The role offers significant autonomy while providing access to a global network of specialists, solution architects, delivery leaders, and technology partners. Success will be measured through revenue growth, new-logo acquisition, account expansion, client outcomes, and long-term relationship development.
  • Accountabilities: Meet or exceed annual bookings, revenue, gross margin, and pipeline coverage targets for enterprise governance services. Identify, qualify, develop, and close complex governance-led opportunities focused on measurable outcomes such as risk reduction, cost savings, cycle-time improvements, compliance enhancement, and supplier performance. Build and expand relationships with senior decision-makers across Procurement, Vendor Management, Risk and Compliance, Legal, Finance, IT, and business leadership. Orchestrate complex sales pursuits across solution architects, delivery leaders, subject-matter experts, alliances, and platform partners. Develop compelling value cases using metrics such as supplier performance, SLA adherence, leakage reduction, risk exposure, and operational efficiency. Position platform-enabled governance solutions against S2P, CLM, TPRM/GRC, and service management technologies. Manage assigned accounts to drive renewals, upselling, cross-selling, and broader adoption of governance and operational services. Lead roadmap discussions that expand governance capabilities across supplier relationship management, vendor management operations, third-party risk, contract lifecycle management, and source-to-pay environments. Translate client objectives and market trends into compelling offerings, messaging, campaigns, governance roadmaps, and solution concepts in partnership with marketing and events teams. Structure commercial proposals and pricing models aligned with scope, outcomes, service levels, and performance measures. Build market visibility through speaking engagements, webinars, articles, industry events, and provider or platform discussions. Provide thought leadership on vendor governance, supplier relationship management, platform adoption, third-party risk, regulatory developments, and responsible AI-enabled governance capabilities. Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, CRM discipline, activity tracking, and sales reporting. Collaborate with delivery teams to support successful mobilization, client satisfaction, benchmarking, dashboards, policy adherence, and measurable business outcomes. Maintain high standards of integrity, professionalism, diversity, inclusion, and ethical conduct throughout all client engagements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or another advanced degree is preferred. 10+ years of strategic or targeted account sales experience involving governance-led professional services or managed operations across VMO, SRM, TPRM, CLM, S2P, or related areas. Proven success in quota-carrying roles involving complex, multi-stakeholder solution sales, new-logo acquisition, and account expansion. Deep understanding of the vendor lifecycle, including supplier segmentation, onboarding and due diligence, performance and SLA management, obligations and compliance, issue remediation, renewals, and exits. Strong familiarity with S2P, CLM, TPRM/GRC, and service management platforms, with the ability to communicate their business and governance value. Demonstrated executive-level selling skills with CPO, CFO, CRO, General Counsel, CIO, and business-unit leaders. Strong commercial and consultative capabilities, with the ability to communicate value in terms of risk, compliance, cost, speed, resilience, and operational performance. Experience shaping integrated solutions, developing business cases, and creating governance roadmaps tailored to client objectives. Background in procurement, vendor governance, supplier relationship management, legal operations, third-party risk, or governance operations delivery. Experience structuring MSAs and SOWs for governance programs or managed operations, including pricing models, benchmarking, service credits, and exit provisions. Experience working with onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery models, shared services, or global business services organizations. Familiarity with governance councils, supplier segmentation frameworks, performance dashboards, supplier development, and remediation programs. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong team-selling and pursuit-orchestration capabilities, with the ability to coordinate diverse internal and external stakeholders. High integrity, professionalism, accountability, and commitment to diversity and inclusion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC or Challenger is a plus. Willingness to travel up to 30%; Northeast or Midwest U.S. location is preferred.
