Job Description
About Kueski
At Kueski, we're dedicated to improving the financial lives of people in Mexico. Since 2012, we've been the leading buy now, pay later (BNPL) and online consumer credit platform in Latin America, known for our innovative financial services. Our flagship product, Kueski Pay, provides seamless payment solutions for both online and in-store transactions, establishing itself as the preferred option for nearly 30% of Mexico's top e-commerce merchants. Notably, we were the first to introduce BNPL on Amazon Mexico.
We're a tech company with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration, and impact, fostering a strong, diverse, and inclusive workplace. Our commitment to excellence and ethical business practices has earned us multiple industry recognitions. In 2024, we were named one of the World’s Top FinTech Companies by CNBC and recognized as one of the most ethical companies in Mexico by AMITAI. Additionally, we were certified as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality by HRC Equidad MX 2025 and ranked among the Best Companies for Female Talent by EFY.
Position
We're looking for a highly capable, versatile product leader to join Kueski—someone who can think strategically, execute quickly, and thrive in an ambiguous, fast-growing fintech environment. We welcome candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, including exceptional consultants, operators, or engineers who may not have held a formal product title but have demonstrated strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to drive complex initiatives end-to-end.
Fintech experience is a strong plus, though not required; what matters most is the ability to ramp up quickly, structure and solve complex problems, influence cross-functional partners, and elevate both the quality and velocity of product execution.
Key Responsibilities
Product Measurement & Strategy
Translate company vision and strategy into actionable goals and ensure the team has the necessary tools, skills, and talent to be successful
Oversee and own product roadmaps; define product roadmaps and collaborate with others to determine the best way to execute
Manage multiple product lines and take a very high degree of responsibility for owning and delivering business outcomes
Analyze data, metrics, and trends to inform the organization on how it should invest its resources
Cross-functional Collaboration
Clearly communicate the direction, plans, objectives, and performance measures and progress against plans to all stakeholders
Proactively address competing priorities and resolve complex conflicts between departments
Lead transformative change when needed and serve as a living example of the desired culture of the company
Help peers in other departments become successful so that the company is ultimately successful
Insight Generation & Communication
Monitor team performance and quality of deliverables while nurturing a culture of user passion, quality, and accountability
Plan and set strategies and have ownership for daily execution to achieve short-term and longer-term goals
Apply expertise in building scalable product teams and delivering great products
Mentorship & Culture
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of product managers with accountability for overall outcomes of the team
Help evolve the PM discipline within the Product organization
Grow a healthy, collaborative, productive, and inclusive product culture in line with company values
Job Requirements
8+ years of experience in strategic roles such as management consulting, business strategy, product, or engineering..
4+ years of experience leading teams (people leadership required; leading leaders is a plus).
Experience aligning with senior external stakeholders, navigating complex partner needs, and ensuring ongoing success.
Structured problem-solving ability and excellent prioritization instincts.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Comfort working with ambiguity, rapidly learning new domains, and breaking down complex problems into actionable plans.
Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and disciplines, balancing analytical and customer-centric approaches.
Experience developing or owning digital products (especially in fintech or transactional businesses) is a plus, but not required.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Diversity & Inclusion
