About the Role
The Director of Operations will oversee all day-to-day operations across luxury vacation rentals. This senior leadership role manages both Property Caretaking and Guest Support departments and ensures operational excellence across staffing, property readiness, vendor coordination, and guest experience.
This role requires a strong hospitality operations leader capable of building scalable systems, recruiting strong cultural fits, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across property Caretaking & Maintenance.
- Guest Support / Customer Experience.
- Serve as the primary operational escalation point.
- Ensure homes are consistently 5-star guest-ready.
- Recruit, interview, and hire team members aligned with company culture.
- Lead department managers, coordinators, and field teams.
- Oversee vendor and service provider coordination.
- Implement quality assurance inspections and documentation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and response times.
- Track KPIs related to readiness, staffing, and service quality.
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality operations leadership.
- Strong leadership presence.
- High accountability.
- Systems-oriented thinker and operational excellence mindset.
- Strong recruiter and talent developer.
