• Accountabilities: The Director, Engineering - AI Products will own the strategy, execution, and evolution of core AI-focused product areas, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business objectives. This role requires a leader who can balance long-term architectural vision with practical delivery, while empowering teams to build impactful solutions. Lead and grow a multidisciplinary engineering organization spanning machine learning, software engineering, and data/analytics capabilities. Define the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for AI-driven platforms, including intelligent agents, automation workflows, and scalable AI applications. Build and maintain a high standard of engineering excellence through strong development practices, architecture reviews, and quality-focused processes. Partner with product, design, delivery, and business stakeholders to translate customer needs into effective technical strategies. Guide the development and deployment of AI-powered enterprise products that improve user experiences and operational efficiency. Act as a strategic technical advisor, helping stakeholders understand opportunities and trade-offs across technology and business priorities. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation as the engineering organization scales. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in building AI-powered products, scaling teams, and delivering enterprise software solutions. You should combine deep technical expertise with exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking. 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading engineering teams and organizations. Proven success managing and developing high-performing, multidisciplinary teams in technology-driven environments. Strong expertise in B2B enterprise SaaS, with experience in early-stage or high-growth companies preferred. Demonstrated experience designing, building, and operating AI-powered products in production environments. Experience with agentic systems, AI workflows, large language model applications, or other advanced AI technologies at scale. Ability to define technical strategy while remaining connected to execution and delivery. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to proactively identify challenges and drive solutions. Experience creating inclusive, high-trust teams through empathetic leadership and mentorship.
