- This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Digital Design based in United States. This role leads the development of digital-first creative experiences across email, web, social media, paid media, and campaign channels. You will translate strategic objectives and audience insights into compelling, accessible, and effective visual communications. The position combines strong design craft with an understanding of responsive environments, usability, performance, and front-end implementation. You will collaborate closely with creative, marketing, communications, strategy, copy, development, and external partners. The role offers an opportunity to shape scalable design systems and strengthen digital storytelling across multiple audience touchpoints. Success will require balancing brand consistency, creative quality, audience engagement, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines. - Accountabilities: Lead the design and execution of digital-first creative across email campaigns, websites, social media, paid media, and broader digital storytelling initiatives. Translate strategic briefs, audience insights, campaign goals, and organizational priorities into high-quality visual concepts and digital experiences. Design responsive layouts and digital assets with strong consideration for user experience, accessibility, performance, and front-end implementation. Develop scalable templates, modular design systems, and reusable creative assets that support efficient production across digital channels. Partner with strategists, copywriters, marketers, developers, creative teams, and external agencies to deliver integrated campaigns and cohesive digital experiences. Ensure creative work consistently reflects brand standards while adapting appropriately to different platforms, audiences, formats, and campaign objectives. Use audience behavior, engagement metrics, performance data, and platform best practices to inform creative decisions and continuously improve digital experiences. Clearly communicate design rationale and present creative recommendations based on strategy, audience needs, usability, and organizational objectives. Participate in creative reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help raise the overall quality, consistency, and effectiveness of digital design work. Contribute to motion graphics, animation, video, and other multimedia initiatives where appropriate. Stay current with emerging digital design trends, social platforms, technologies, and evolving industry best practices. Independently manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high creative standards and meeting production deadlines. Requirements: Bring at least 4 years of professional design experience focused on digital communications and digital-first creative. Have a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality work across email, web, social media, campaigns, and other digital ecosystems. Demonstrate deep knowledge of responsive design principles, digital layouts, platform-specific creative requirements, and modern digital design practices. Possess strong expertise in typography, layout, visual storytelling, branding, and design systems. Have experience designing for email marketing platforms and web content management systems; familiarity with these environments is preferred. Demonstrate the ability to incorporate audience insights, engagement data, and performance learnings into creative decisions and iterations. Be highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; experience with Canva is a plus. Motion graphics, animation, video editing, or multimedia production experience is advantageous. Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to both creative and non-creative stakeholders. Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines. Work effectively in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments and build productive relationships with internal and external partners. Bring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a willingness to incorporate feedback. A bachelor's degree in design, digital media, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent professional experience may be considered. Benefits: Full-time, flexible remote position within the United States. Competitive location-based salary structure: Tier A: $74,300–$97,500 annually. Tier B: $81,000–$106,300 annually. Tier C: $87,600–$115,000 annually. Starting compensation is determined based on factors including qualifications, experience, location, internal equity, organizational needs, and market conditions.
