You will oversee communications initiatives across multiple channels while ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity.   • Accountabilities: The Director, Brand Strategy & Communications will lead the development and execution of comprehensive brand and communications strategies that strengthen market positioning, increase brand awareness, and support organizational growth. This role will serve as the primary steward of brand consistency while managing strategic initiatives, content development, and team collaboration. Develop and execute an integrated brand strategy aligned with business goals, organizational vision, and target audience needs. Lead external communications initiatives, including public relations, thought leadership, media engagement, and advertising strategies. Oversee the creation of impactful content across digital, social, print, and other communication channels. Partner with product, sales, customer success, internal communications, and business teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of content professionals responsible for executing awareness and engagement campaigns. Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure brand awareness, communication effectiveness, audience engagement, and market perception. Act as the brand guardian, maintaining consistency across messaging, tone of voice, visual identity, and customer experiences. Collaborate with creative teams and field marketing partners to translate corporate messaging into compelling value propositions for different audiences. Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and strategic partners to support communication initiatives. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in brand strategy, corporate communications, and marketing leadership, with a proven ability to build strong narratives and scale brand initiatives. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across an organization. 7+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing communications, corporate communications, or related disciplines. Demonstrated success developing and scaling brands, preferably within technology, telecommunications, public safety, or similarly complex industries. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling messaging for diverse audiences. Strong storytelling abilities with experience translating complex concepts into clear and engaging narratives. Experience managing agencies, vendors, budgets, and external communication partners. Proven ability to develop communication strategies that support business objectives and market growth. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring creative or communications teams. Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field required. MBA or advanced business degree is a plus.
