  • MGM Television, the longstanding semi-independent division of Amazon MGM Studios responsible for tremendous content including Wednesday, Fargo, The Handmaid's Tale, The Testaments, etc., has an immediate opening for a Creative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess a deep understanding of the entertainment industry. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage complex calendars and schedules with precision, strong verbal and written communication skills, a passion for television, and a willingness to learn from and work within a highly collaborative team in which every opinion is valued. While this is a creative position, the ideal candidate should also have a basic understanding and willingness to learn more about all aspects of the television development and production process - including physical production, casting, business affairs, music, etc. Key job responsibilities • Manage complex and dynamic executive calendar including meetings, travel and events. • Roll a high volume of calls and organize expenses. • Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones with high attention to detail. • Evaluate incoming creative material. • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables. • Organize and maintain files, documents and confidential materials. • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, key players, and current events. • Effectively prioritize, manage multiple deadlines and competing needs.
Basic Qualifications
  • - Experience with executive level calendar management - Experience with domestic or international travel coordination - Experience with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications - Experience handling confidential information - Experience assessing industry talent and trends, or experience as an assistant at a studio or production company - Experience as an assistant in a scripted department at an agency, studio or scripted production company
