This is a senior consulting leadership opportunity focused on improving cardiovascular care, performance, and financial outcomes for healthcare organizations. You’ll lead complex engagements involving physician preference items, clinical variation, operational performance, and cost efficiency. - Accountabilities Provide strategic direction for cardiovascular initiatives designed to improve cost efficiency, reduce clinical variation, and enhance quality of care. Lead consulting engagements focused on Physician Preference Items and cardiovascular programs, ensuring recommendations deliver measurable clinical, financial, and operational value. Analyze financial, clinical, quality, and operational data from multiple sources to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and solve complex business challenges. Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations and innovative solutions that support informed decision-making and sustainable performance improvement. Lead complex projects and workstreams, coordinating resources, timelines, budgets, scope, deliverables, and performance metrics to ensure successful execution. Guide project teams through implementation and monitor progress to ensure agreed-upon outcomes and measurable value are achieved. Support the effective implementation and adoption of relevant tools, technologies, and solutions within client organizations. Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior healthcare leaders, including C-suite executives and other key decision-makers. Facilitate executive-level presentations, workshops, discussions, and decision-making sessions with clarity and confidence. Identify opportunities for additional client value and contribute to business development, sales activities, and growth initiatives. Contribute to thought leadership and the ongoing development of consulting methodologies, solutions, and expertise within the cardiovascular practice. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or other relevant degree preferred; a clinical degree is a plus. At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in healthcare consulting, advisory services, healthcare operations, or a related field. Strong cardiovascular industry experience is highly preferred, with an understanding of cardiovascular programs, service lines, clinical workflows, and performance challenges. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and quality data and translate findings into operational strategies and measurable process improvements. Strong strategic and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and develop practical recommendations. Proven project leadership experience, including managing complex workstreams, resources, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and facilitate complex decision-making discussions. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish credibility and trusted relationships with clients. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Strong executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments. Willingness and ability to travel regularly and, when necessary, on short notice to meet client requirements and project timelines.
