INTRODUCTION:
The Sponsors office is the force of choice for the development of global infrastructure and delivery of solutions that drive influence operations. The Sponsor requires specialized skills in cloud engineering and full stack development.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
Full Stack Development Support – HRR: Yes
• The Contractor shall participate in software development efforts through all aspects of the software engineering life cycle including scope and work estimation, design, documentation, implementation, testing and integration.
• The Contractor shall design and develop new applications to better meet the Sponsors mission design, as well as develop, and provide O&M for multiple tools.
• The Contractor shall assist in developing solutions to software architecture problems and broad design solutions.
Cloud Engineering Team Support – HRR: Yes
• The Contractor shall manage virtual and physical servers on a virtualization platform (VMware) with Windows Server 2008-2016, Ubuntu, CentOS, and Ubuntu operating systems.
• The Contractor shall ensure the security of the server infrastructure by implementing industry best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• The Contractor shall use a proactive approach to anticipating, mitigating, identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting hardware and software issues on servers and workstations.
Required Skills:
1. Demonstrated experience architecting and engineering services that integrate multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle)
2. Demonstrated experience installing, configuring and managing compute resources (Linux and Windows VMs), storage (file, object), networking components (VNet, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, VPNs)
3. Demonstrated experience managing Identity and Access Management (user provisioning, MFA, privileged access management RBAC)
4. Demonstrated experience administering databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB) and writing scripts for reporting and automation (SQL, Python)
5. Demonstrated experience performing remote administration and automation using scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell)
6. Demonstrated experience deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
7. Demonstrated experience performing incident management, root cause analysis and troubleshooting for services and users
8. Demonstrated experience applying system patches and updates for cloud infrastructure
9. Demonstrated experience configuring security and compliance scanning, assessment and reporting tools; setting alerts and remediating issues
10. Demonstrated experience providing Tier 1-3 solution support, creating service documentation and delivering user training
11. Demonstrated experience using Jira for issue and task management
12. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

1. Demonstrated experience creating architecture diagrams (Visio, Draw.IO) and translating requirements into cloud solutions
2. Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and sequencing solution deployments
3. Demonstrated experience automating tasks and building Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
