Job Description
Compass Cargo Airlines is a growing Bulgarian cargo operator flying a Boeing 737-800SF fleet alongside our Boeing 747-400F and 747-400ERF widebody operation, serving an expanding international network on behalf of major cargo customers. Our operation is built on clear communication, professional standards, efficient structures, and reliable teamwork, supported by EASA-compliant procedures and modern rostering practices.
As a Boeing Boeing B747-400 Captain at Compass Cargo Airlines, you will join an international and multicultural environment focused on safe, efficient, and cargo-oriented operations, where night flying, tight ground turnarounds, and dangerous goods handling are part of everyday work. Our 737-800SF network complements the long-haul flying performed by our 747-400F and 747-400ERF fleet, giving our pilots exposure to a broad and varied operation within a single company.
We are looking for motivated pilots who value professionalism, consistency, collaboration, and a calm, solution-oriented approach both in the cockpit and on the ground, and who understand that in cargo operations the quality of the flight deck sets the standard for the whole operation.

- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Valid B747-400 type rating
- TRI/TRE an advantage
- Total of 6000 hours of which a minimum of 4500 hours must have been on medium to heavy turbo jet aircraft
- Minimum 1000 hours on B747-400 or -8 aircraft
- Minimum 500 hours PIC on B747-400 or -8 aircraft
- Minimum 1500 hours PIC total
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professional, calm, and solution-oriented approach to operations
