  • We are seeking an innovative and strategic BIM Operations Lead to champion our digital design and construction initiatives and position us to deliver more relevant, data-rich digital twins. In this high-impact role, you will lead the BIM Operations and help in digital design strategy implementation while prioritizing automation, advanced analytics, and data optimization — ensuring that our BIM ecosystem evolves from static project models into living digital assets that support facilities management, capital planning, and operational decision-making throughout the building lifecycle. You will eliminate repetitive, manual Modeling tasks by developing custom scripts and software integrations that enhance overall project productivity. Key job responsibilities • Automation & Digital Innovation • Lead the research, development, and implementation of BIM automation solutions to streamline workflows. • Design, develop, and maintain custom scripts, macros, and plugins using programming languages (Python, C#). • Leverage visual programming tools (such as Dynamo and Grasshopper) to create advanced, parametric BIM workflows. • Automate data-heavy tasks, including quantity extraction, model health audits, reporting, and clash detection validation. Operations & Strategy • Define and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with a strong emphasis on automation and structure. • Manage cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks in the project lifecycle and design tailored automation solutions. • Ensure alignment with international standards and frameworks (e.g., AIA, ISO 19650) across Common Data Environments (CDE). • Oversee digital handover processes, delivering structured, automated asset data to Facilities Management teams. • Leadership & Training • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to stakeholder team and team members. • Drive the adoption of new technologies and facilitating change management across the broader organization. A day in the life You’ll spend your days translating BIM strategy into clear, automated workflows that help project teams deliver faster and with fewer errors. This means reviewing model standards, writing and maintaining scripts that eliminate manual repetition, and sometimes bridging gaps by authoring new automation tools or engaging technology partners. You’ll balance multiple conversations, stakeholder feedback, and platform decisions while working autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail transforms complex model data into structured, reliable digital assets — and as a senior technical leader, you’ll role model best practices and influence across all organizational levels to overcome obstacles and deliver results.
