Job Description

Bid & Contracts Manager

The Role

Lyrebird is scaling fast - more NHS Trusts, more enterprise health tech partners, and more complexity in every tender, contract, and framework we touch. This role sits at the centre of that growth: you'll be the person who turns opportunities into signed, well-structured commercial agreements, and who keeps our contractual house in order as we grow. You'll co-own bid drafting with our commercial team, manage our framework compliance (SBS, DPS, and similar), handle EPR partnership and revenue share agreements, keep our T&Cs current against a fast-moving regulatory backdrop, and build the systems that make our contracts audit-ready at any moment.

This role suits someone who's equal parts meticulous and commercially minded, someone who can sit alongside a founder or commercial lead drafting a bid one day, then untangle a revenue share clause or update an NDA the next. You'll enjoy the mix of structure and ambiguity that comes with building process from scratch inside a fast-growing health tech company, and you'll take real pride in knowing that when due diligence comes knocking, everything's exactly where it should be.

About Us

Lyrebird Health is transforming the quality and accessibility of healthcare by automating clinicians' most time-consuming tasks.

Thousands of clinicians across multiple disciplines use Lyrebird every day in environments where accuracy, safety, and time matter deeply. Everything we build is grounded in earning trust, reducing cognitive load, and delivering meaningful impact at scale.

What you'll do

  • Co-formulate initial bid drafts for tenders, working closely alongside the Sales team

  • Own and continuously update all appendices used across bids, ensuring they're accurate and current

  • Manage Lyrebird's framework requirements and submissions, including SBS, DPS, and similar public sector frameworks

  • Draft and complete EPR-related contractuals, including partnership agreements and revenue share agreements

  • Maintain and update UK T&Cs for both Enterprise and SMB contracts, keeping pace with clinical safety, AI regulation, and medical device security changes

  • Maintain a live tracker of all enterprise renewal dates, flagging upcoming actions in good time

  • Build and maintain a business case template for use across the commercial team

  • Keep Lyrebird's NDA up to date and aligned with current legal and commercial standards

  • Organise and maintain all contracts on the shared drive, ensuring full P&L pack readiness

What you'll bring

  • Experience in bid management, contracts management, or commercial operations, ideally in a regulated or health tech environment

  • Strong working knowledge of UK public sector procurement frameworks (SBS, DPS, or equivalent)

  • Comfort drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, including partnership and revenue share structures

  • Excellent organisational skills and a genuine appetite for keeping complex, ever-changing documentation accurate and current

  • The judgement to work independently while flagging the right things to the right people at the right time

  • Clear, precise written communication

Nice to have

  • Experience working with NHS Trusts or within NHS procurement processes

  • Familiarity with EPR (Electronic Patient Record) partnerships and integration agreements

  • Exposure to due diligence processes ahead of a funding round

  • Legal, paralegal, or contracts qualification background

Every contract you tighten and every framework you clear is one less barrier between a clinician and the tools that give them their time back. The work you do here doesn't just keep Lyrebird compliant, it keeps us moving fast enough to reach the clinicians who need us.

We're building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. If you're from an underrepresented background in tech, we strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet every requirement.
