Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $3,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview: We are seeking an innovative and solutions-driven AI Automation Specialist to lead the design and implementation of AI-powered automation initiatives across the business.

This is primarily an internal-facing role, focused on improving staff productivity, reducing repetitive and manual tasks, and creating scalable systems that enable teams to work more efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify workflow bottlenecks and implement practical automation solutions that create measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify internal workflow inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
  • Design, build, and implement AI-powered solutions to improve staff productivity.
  • Reduce repetitive and manual processes through scalable automation systems.
  • Develop workflows and integrations across internal tools and business platforms.
  • Build automated processes connecting CRM systems, communication tools, reporting systems, and operational platforms.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand pain points and translate business needs into automation solutions.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and optimize automation workflows for reliability and efficiency.
  • Document systems, processes, and implementation procedures.
  • Research emerging AI tools and identify opportunities for business application.
  • Recommend process improvements and innovation initiatives.
  • Support future expansion into client-facing automation projects where required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI automation, systems integration, workflow design, or related roles.
  • Proficient with full-stack development.
  • Strong understanding of AI-powered productivity and automation tools.
  • Experience with platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate, or similar workflow systems.
  • Experience integrating APIs and connecting multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, large language models, and automation ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing.
  • Strong analytical and process-improvement mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in or supporting digital marketing environments.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
